Product Description

A stunning and original Thorley’s Cake enamel sign…

Dating back to the early 20th century, circa 193os, this is a genuine sign with an authentic patina. Of English origin (Kings Cross, London) and, the sign can be found in good condition. A large statement piece for a wall or window display…

The sign has a few rusty areas and some enamel chipping, and there is a slight natural bend when standing. That said, the subject matter and writing is in good form and nice and visible

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. The sign is structurally great with some enamel loss, paint chipping and rust. We feel the condition simply adds to the authenticity. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
