Product Description

A beautiful depiction of Her Majesty, The Queen…

Dating to the mid part of the 20th century, circa 1950s, this is a depiction of her majesty, the Queen. Painted on a thin hard board in what we think are oils, this piece is personally signed by the artist, ‘Lilah Anne Griffin’, and dated to May 1953. We think it’s beautifully done, and would look stunning mounted and possibly framed. There’s a few tatty areas and edges, which shows its authenticity but other than that, it’s a fine original piece that would look ace graced on ones’ wall…

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. There are some surface scuffs and abrasions across the painting, along with some paint chipping and tatty areas around the areas. That said, in general it’s in very nice original condition, and oozes charm and authenticity. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
