Product Description

A stunning fairground sign painted by the talented Euge Sloan

Euge was lucky enough to see some of the last shows on the British fairgrounds and indeed he still retains friendships with some of the families who presented them. To watch a crowd being called to “Step Right Up” or “Step This Way “ by the talker or barker on the bally (stage) was an art form in its own right

This fairground sign  is one of our unique collection that is exclusive to Ralph & Co. in limited numbers

The sign is made from exterior grade plywood as originally used on the fairgrounds and features two coats of primer on the front, plus one coat of undercoat. It also features ‘sign writers’ enamel paint

Euge is a creative genius who has been hand painting fairground rides and signs since the 1970’s. His work is very well known, and lots of his original pieces are held in personal collections and are in high demand

With original fairground memorabilia being one of the most sought after items at the moment, there is no better time to get your hands on this unique piece of hand painted art work

This sign is personally signed and dated by Euge on the reverse
