Product Description

A stunning and original hand made anatomical head form…

Although we are unsure of the exact date of this piece, it is simply a magical piece of art. We would suggest it may have been an artists impression, or maybe a piece by an art student. We do believe it is a ‘one off’ and could date to the latter part of the 20th century, if not earlier

Made in plaster, then hand painted in Black – the head is ‘weighty’ and is one that has some great craftsmanship. One side shows a normal chaps’ face, whilst the other shows the skeletal bone system that sits underneath ones skin. A really clever piece and one that would look good in a curio collection or simply on display…

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. Structurally the entire piece is in great condition, yet there is just some natural wear and tear; surface scratches, some paint chipping and some rough edges (specifically to the bottom)… That said, we feel it simply adds to the authenticity… Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
