These beautiful glass jars were produced for the NPA (National Pharmacy Association) in 1989. The series of jars comprised of six jars, which was limited to just 500 sets worldwide (we have three of those here). Each jar is 33cm high with a diameter of 16.5cm and includes a 22ct Gold plated cap!
They are modelled on an original form used to house crude or powdered drug and each container is individually coloured from within to form a background and hand applied armorial lettering in gilt, heraldic colours and gold leaf is then applied externally to faithfully replicate the originals. Each of the vessels is individually made and therefore unique from the manufacturer
We are offering these jars ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is natural wear and tear. Structurally they are all good with no cracks or breaks to the glass. Other than a few scuffs and scars, and maybe some small losses to the paint, these are in immaculate condition and are a ‘must see’. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
Condition : Structurally okay, some surface marks and scratches, some paint chipping, some losses to the fibreglass shell, a weathered patina to the surface in areas, some tatty and dirty areas, misshapen as described above
Postage : Due to the fragile nature of these items, they are listed as local collection only. We do however have an affordable courier on hand who would happily provide a postage quote to your address
