Product Description

A really cool set of Mickey Mouse hands…

Although we are unsure of the exact date of these pieces, we understand that they were the hands from a large model depiction of Mickey Mouse, which featured on a fairground ride. We believe these date to the mid part of the 20th century, circa 1960s…

These are hand made and hand painted and have a cracking look to them. We are not quite sure of the material however; could be a wood, could be plaster – either way they are very strong and sturdy. Years of usage and exposure to the elements have also left these with a great patina. A really cool decorative piece, and of course a cool collectable display piece for the avid Disney fan. Also, these are cool for a bit of fun, especially be able to do “jazz hands”!

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is natural wear and tear. The hands are structurally good, yet there is some wear and tear to surface with scuffs and paint chipping. Nothing that affects the look and indeed the structure, we feel it simply adds to the authenticity. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
