An original fairground sign…

Dating to the latter part of the 20th century, circa 1990s, this is an original sign that was once used on Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. Probably used above or near a kiosk to provide change for the rides and attractions for paying customers

It’s a cool decorative piece with great vibrant colours. It’s pretty heavy and has an authentic used patina which gives it a great look and feel. A great wall piece or something that is still very functional giving the subject matter. Made in a thick wood, hand painted with vinyl lettering and stars…

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. As mentioned, the patina is weathered in general, with surface scars and abrasions, paint chipping and some tatty wood in areas. Structurally the piece is heavy and strong and ready to be hung from a wall. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
