Product Description

A cool original dentist’s seat or stool…

Dating to the mid part of the 20th century, circa 1950s, this is an original dentist’s stool, with authentic patina. Made with a heavy steel base and steel column, the seat is brilliant given its articulation. Once seated, with feet flat on the floor, one can push their bottom down to move the stool in the desired position for a task. This could be ideal for a tattoo artist or indeed back in a medical or dental environment

The entire stool shows a weathered patina which looks awesome, but it doesn’t affect the structure or indeed the function of the seat. The seat is covered in a dark Brown leather and has some surface marks. This complements the overall look and feel and adds to its charm and originality. A seat or stool with a difference that has many useful functions…

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. There are some surface scuffs and scars to the surface and some chipping in areas to the paint. Structurally the seat is very good and strong, yet a little tatty in places. In general, there is wear and tear, but we feel it simply adds to its charm and authenticity. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
