Product Description

A stunning set of eight glass apothecary bottles…

Commonly used in the chemist or pharmaceutical world for storage of medicines and liquids, these bottles date back to the earlier part of the 20th century. The bottles are offered in the form they were found, and feature a mixture of coloured powders and contents. All of the lids are removable, however we haven’t checked what the contents might be as they are a little stiff…

The majority of the bottles show wear and tear and they are a little tatty in places. That said, the overall condition adds to their charm and their authenticity, and they certainly do look great lined up together. Certainly a unique collection, great for decorative purposes…

We are offering the bottles in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. There are some surface scars and scuffs to the bottles and and they are all a little tatty and dirty in areas. Other than that, this is a rare and beautiful set of original apothecary bottles perfect for a prop, for display or for one’s curio cabinet. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections
