Commonly used in the chemist or pharmaceutical world for storage of medicines and liquids, these bottles date back to the earlier part of the 20th century. The bottles are offered in the form they were found, with some colourful powders or materials in them. All of the bottles have their original tin lids too, which simply sit on top of the glass. These are therefore easily removed
The majority of the bottles show wear and tear to the labels, and they are a little tatty in places. That said, the overall condition adds to their charm and their authenticity, and they certainly do look great lined up together..
We are offering the bottles in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. There are some surface scars and scuffs to the bottles and and they are all a little tatty and dirty in areas, specifically around the labels. Other than that, this is a rare and beautiful set of apothecary bottles, perfect for display. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections
