Product Description

An awesome original ball chair…

The Ball Chair was designed by Finnish furniture designer Eero Aarnio in 1963. Also known as the globe chair, it is famous for its unconventional shape. It is considered a classic of industrial design (Reference : Wikipedia)

The chair is offered in great condition and in perfect working order. The 360 swivel rotation works and is smooth when moving. The Red material inside is generally clean and tidy and unscented.  Although a simple design and build, it’s quite the trendy item, and our young helper fell in love with it while he was trying it out!

We are offering this piece in ‘as found’ condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. The ball chair is structurally good with some surface wear and tear consummate with age. There are a few surface scars and residue probably from scuffing against something else, but a little T-Cut or polish would probably see to that. The structure itself isn’t affected and it retains its original shape. We feel the current condition gives it charm and shows its authenticity. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections…
